I have always been drawn to listening to others and helping them process issues and achieve goals.  Initially, I used this skill in the world of education.  As a teacher and school counselor, I have worked with hundreds of students and their families. During my time in education I noticed a great need to help students and families deal with the stress of balancing school, extra-curricular activities, social needs, and family relationships. This experience inspired me to shift my focus from education to emotional wellness.

It is my goal to partner with clients to focus on understanding one's true self to work through challenges.  Developing a sense of true self helps us stay centered....even when life gets messy.
